CASH & CARDS
Cashback is available at the entrance, not everyone on site can take card payments so please endeavor to bring cash.
The meadows are flat grassland and the woodland paths are level so suitable for wheelchairs. There are also wheelchair viewing areas for the joust and battle. Grass meadow can get muddy so access is subject to weather.
Well behaved dogs on leads who DO NOT MIND NOISE are welcome to attend the Joust (please be aware there will be CANNON FIRE and loud noises at times). If you bring your dog please ensure they remain on the lead at all times and you clear up after them.
We ask you to please drive at a SLOW pace over the parking Meadow and take it easy with your metal steed. We offer free parking.
The Joust site is flat grassland and fine for buggies. Be mindful of mud/weather conditions.
If you are not joining us in the banqueting hall, there are many other food stalls for you, including pizza, ice cream, tea and coffee, mead and more, hog roast, burgers and hot dogs, wild game, and general catering. There are vegan and vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
Rain won’t stop play. Dress for the weather. If there are extreme weather conditions updates will be given via website and social media.
No gazebos are allowed to be set up on the site as they obscure the view for others.
We have a ‘carer goes free’ policy, but only available on the door with ID and proof of carer. Tickets are available at the gate, not in advance.
The site is licensed. There must be no glass bottles or alcohol brought onto the festival site.
