CASH & CARDS
Cashback is available at the entrance, not everyone on site can take card payments so please endeavour to bring cash.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
The meadows are flat grassland and the woodland paths are level so suitable for wheelchairs. There are also wheelchair viewing areas for the joust and battle. Grass meadow can get muddy so access is subject to weather.
DOGS
Well behaved dogs on leads who DO NOT MIND NOISE are welcome to attend the Joust (please be aware there will be CANNON FIRE and loud noises at times). If you bring your dog please ensure they remain on the lead at all times and you clear up after them.
PARKING
Please note that a Vehicle Pass MUST be purchased in advance if traveling by car as parking on site is limited.
We ask you to please drive at a SLOW pace over the parking Meadow and take it easy with your metal steed.
BUGGIES/PUSHCHAIRS
The Joust site is flat grassland and fine for buggies. Be mindful of mud/weather conditions.
FOOD
If you are not joining us in the banqueting hall, there are many other food stalls and options for you, including:

Churros
Crêpes
Syrian
Vietnamese
Burgers
Fish & chips
Hot dogs
Pastries
Ice creams
All dietary requirements are catered for.
Picnics
We don’t have any specific picnic areas at the festival but we are happy for you to go back to your vehicle to consume food you want to bring. Please get a stamp before you leave the festival so that you can gain re-entry.
As the site is licensed, you cannot bring your own alcohol.
WEATHER
Rain won’t stop play. Dress for the weather. If there are extreme weather conditions updates will be given via website and social media.
GAZEBOS
No gazebos are allowed to be set up on the site as they obscure the view for others.
LICENSED SITE
The site is licensed. There must be no glass bottles or alcohol brought onto the festival site.
