What is the Loxwood Joust?
The Loxwood Joust is a journey into another realm, a festival like no other where immersive experiences, thrilling spectacles, and enchanting discoveries await. Step into a world where reality shifts, and let your curiosity guide you.
When and where does the event take place?
The Loxwood Joust takes place the first three weeks in August between 2nd – 17th August 2025 at Loxwood Meadow, RH12 0AL. The gates to this extraordinary experience open at 10:00 AM, and the adventure continues until 18:00 PM.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes, tickets will be available on the day, but we highly recommend booking in advance to secure your place, save money, and avoid any disappointment.

Is there any discounts available?
Yes, take advantage of our Early Bird discounts, now available on a range of tickets, including entry, camping, and banquets. Don’t miss out!
Do I need to print my ticket?
No need to print—digital tickets on your smartphone are perfectly fine. Just ensure the QR code is ready and visible for scanning. Tickets will be emailed to you as a PDF within a couple of weeks of registering.
Are tickets refundable?
Yes, tickets are refundable at a cost of £5 per ticket, subject to availability. If you’d like to request a refund or change your booking, please email info@legendpresents.co.uk with the following details:
• Your ticket reference number
• The quantity of tickets you’d like to refund or change
• Your preferred new date or time.
Our team will review your request and get back to you as soon as possible.
Are carer tickets available?
Yes, we offer free carer tickets for those attending with someone requiring additional support. These tickets are limited, subject to availability, and must be used alongside a paying ticket.
To obtain a carer ticket:
1. Purchase your group’s festival tickets as normal.
2. Email us at info@legendpresents.co.uk with your order number and proof of carer identification.
3.We will review your submission and email the free carer ticket to you.
Accepted forms of identification include:
• A valid Access Card with a +1 symbol
• Blue Badge
• Current award letter for DLA, PIP, Attendance Allowance, or similar
• Impairment-specific registration card/certificate
•Recent personal letter of support from a hospital specialist clearly stating the need for substantial support

PARKING & TRANSPORT
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available at £5 per car, while motorbikes can park for free. Due to limited on-site space, we strongly recommend purchasing parking in advance on the ticket page to secure your spot.
Is there any transport options to the event?
We’re located approximately 15 miles from Guildford and 13 miles from Horsham. A convenient shuttle bus runs multiple times per day between Horsham and the Loxwood Joust. Spaces on the shuttle are limited, so be sure to book your tickets early on the ticket page to avoid disappointment.
Local taxi services are also available, but we recommend booking well in advance. Please note that Uber is not a reliable option in the area.
ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS
What activities are available for Children?
We offer a wide range of family-friendly activities to captivate young imaginations, including archery, sword school, face painting, bouncy castles, quests, stage shows, dragon puppet shows, jester performances, live jousting, and knights’ battles. Children can also interact with characters and participate in selective workshops designed just for them.
Will there be live jousting?
Absolutely! The twice-daily jousting tournaments are a thrilling highlight of the event, featuring bold knights competing in spectacular displays of skill and bravery.
Do I have to dress up?
Costumes are not required, but dressing up is wholeheartedly encouraged! It’s a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the atmosphere and add to the magic of the experience.

FOOD & DRINK
What food and drink options are available at the event?
A variety of food and drink options will be available from on-site traders, offering everything from ice cream to hearty hog roasts. All dietary requirements will be catered for, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Food traders for 2025 list coming soon.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own food. While there aren’t designated picnic areas, you can return to your vehicle to enjoy your food if needed. Just make sure to get a stamp at the entrance before leaving, so you can re-enter the festival.
Is alcohol available on-site?
Yes, as the site is licensed, a selection of alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from on-site traders, including the Loxwood Joust Taverns. Please note that bringing your own alcohol is not permitted.
Can I bring glass bottles or drinks to the event?
No, the site is licensed, and glass bottles or outside beverages are not permitted. Refreshments and drinks are available for purchase from vendors on-site.
ACCESSIBILITY
Is the event accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, we strive to make the event as accessible as possible. There is dedicated parking, flat pathways, and suitable toilet facilities. However, please note that the event takes place in a woodland and meadow setting, which includes some natural terrain. Accessibility may be impacted by weather conditions, so we recommend preparing accordingly.
Are assistance dogs allowed?
Absolutely! Assistance dogs are welcome to accompany you throughout the experience.

Can I host a hen or stag do at the event?

Will card payments be accepted on-site?
While some vendors accept card payments, not all are equipped for it. Cashback is available at the entrance, but we strongly recommend bringing cash to ensure you don’t miss out on anything.
Are dogs allowed?
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, but only if they are comfortable horses and loud noises such as cannon fire. Please ensure your dog is kept on a lead at all times and that you clean up after them.
What happens if it rains?
Rain only adds to the charm of the event! The festival will go ahead rain or shine, so come prepared with waterproofs and a spirit of adventure. In the event of extreme weather conditions, updates will be provided via our website and social media channels.
Can I set up a gazebo on-site?
No, pop-up structures such as gazebos, tents, or large umbrellas are not allowed, as they can obstruct the view for other attendees.
