Good people of Loxwood! Back in 2023, our Lady Helena battled with wit and strength against the vile tyrant King Villian to become our rightful Queen. In the wake of her majesty’s triumphant victory, a new dawn begins in our fair land. In her wisdom, Queen Helena has issued forth four decrees to restore balance and mirth to Loxwood in 2024, as we rise out of the shadow of injustice.
Royal Pardon for the Jovial Souls
It was a difficult year for Loxwood citizens under that old sourpuss Lord Villian. He banned all acts of merriment and joy throughout the kingdom, dishing out jail-time left, right and centre. But now Queen Helena has granted a full Royal Pardon to all those incarcerated by the (literal) fun police. Indeed, her majesty has planned a thrilling programme for 2024, designed to fill hearts across the land with excitement and delight once again.
Revival of the Celebration of the Boar
In the spirit of olden times, the cherished Celebration of the Boar (long abandoned by King Harold) shall return! With mirth and delight, this annual revelry shall grace our land, bringing joy to all folk of Loxwood. Traditional festivities will commence August 2024, with much merrymaking to be had!
Knighthoods for the most deserving
To every visitor who seeks to forge a bond with our beloved Loxwood, the Queen extends an invitation to climb the rungs of citizenship. Attain any of these noble ranks, and you will be granted an audience with Her Majesty. Should you ascend through all ranks, the coveted title of honorary Knight awaits!
The Boars Return to the Jousting Arena
The esteemed Loxwood Jousting team, ‘The Boars,’ ride forth once more! The National Jousting League shall bear witness to their skill and mettle as they joust with teams from every corner of the realm. A spectacle of courage and chivalry, the arena awaits the thundering hooves and clash of noble lances.
