Meander (mead-in-hand, should you wish) through the four quarters of the Loxwood Meadow. Be spellbound by performances from world-renowned artists and mystics in the Enchanted Woodland. Gain long-lost skills under the experienced guidance of talented craftspeople in the Makers’ Market and learn a thing or two about a bow and arrow in the Royal Quarter.
WITNESS THE WILD
Wonder at full-contact jousting, falconry displays, daring displays of weaponry, torture with the executioner, archery and cannon fire as armoured knights meet in thunderous battle in the main arena and battlefield.
LEARN THE SKILLS OF OLDE
From swordsmanship to scribing, copper bowl making to chainmail, there’s a craft to suit one and all, taught by masters of their trade.
DINE ON GLUTTONOUS FEASTS
Delight in banquets overflowing with meats, fruits and all of the fresh faire of the fiefdom as the plot reveals itself around you. Or enjoy cuisine from around the world in the outdoor food quarter. In Loxwood, citizens thrive with full bellies and fuller hearts.

Wander the Living History Village, where inhabitants live and work exactly as they would have in the Middle Ages. CAMP AT THE LOXWOOD JOUST
Experience the spirit of the joust into the night with a weekend camping experience, new for 2024. Available exclusively on our third weekend from 16-19 August, you’ll enjoy an exclusive programme of evening entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as full access to the festival on both days.
