Welcome to the Kingdom of Loxwood! A living world where every path holds a tale and every soul shapes the story. Each summer, the Kingdom's grandest celebration takes place: The Loxwood Joust. Across three weekends of feasting, fighting, music, mischief and royal spectacle beneath the Sussex skies. Wander through its gates and into a story of your own making.

Across the first three weekends of August, the gates of the Kingdom of Loxwood swing wide for the grandest celebration of the year: The Loxwood Joust.

Where
Nestled in the north of West Sussex, near Guildford and Horsham, this sacred land is part of a family-owned farm, untouched by the modern world. You can find us at Loxwood Meadow, RH14 0AL.

FINDING YOUR WAY

by car

Follow signs for Loxwood Meadow, located on the B2133 between Loxwood and Wisborough Green. Parking must be booked in advance when securing your ticket: spaces are limited within the Kingdom’s grounds.

By Shuttle Bus

Our regular service from Horsham Station returns this year, joined by a new route from Guildford Station. For campers, special shuttles run on Friday afternoons and Monday mornings. All shuttle spaces must be booked in advance.

The nearest station is Billingshurst, with direct links from London Victoria, Horsham, and Bognor Regis. We also offer a shuttle bus service from Horsham and Guildford stations. Seats are limited and must be pre-booked, so be sure to reserve early.

Other Ways to TRAVEL

Local travellers are warmly welcome to arrive on foot or by bicycle. Racks and secure areas are available near the main gate.


Motorbikes have free parking and do not require a pass.


Taxis services can be guaranteed in the area, so we recommend booking ahead to avoid delay or disappointment.

CAMPING

For travellers who cannot bear to leave, the Kingdom Campsite awaits. Stay beneath the stars from Friday to Monday, with twilight revelry on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Evenings bring music, merriment, and fireside tales for weekend wanderers. Gather your fellowship and make the Kingdom your home for the weekend.

TICKETS & ENTRY

Passes to the Kingdom are on sale now, with Earlybird prices available online for a limited time. Children aged 4 - 14 require a child ticket; under-fours enter free.

FOOD & DRINK

From hog roasts to sugared treats, the Kingdom’s taverns and stalls serve fare for every taste. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free travellers shall find plenty to enjoy. For those of noble appetite, the Royal Banquet awaits. A feast by reservation only, launching early 2026.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Kingdom of Loxwood strives to ensure all guests can enjoy their adventure in comfort and safety. Accessible parking, toilets and priority viewing areas are available, and our team is on hand throughout the day to assist where needed.

Families & Dogs

The Kingdom opens its gates to families of every age: from tiny squires to seasoned wanderers. Through each day, little adventurers can join in crafts, quests, and quiet wonders. Loyal hounds on leads are welcome throughout the realm, with shaded spots and water awaiting them. Do take care as the clash of steel and the thunder of hooves echo through the day.
